The numbers are dwindling…30 days. That’s just ONE MONTH UNTIL DEMO DAY!
And the fire alarms continue going off at the Dux next door, which also means evacuation of GreenHouse. Each time we wait to see how many sirens will come down Lichfield Street, the record still being three (but we are certain they are getting faster).
Phase of the Programme
Both traction and pitching are receiving a fair bit of attention by the teams at the moment as priorities shift from phase 2 to phase 3.
Visitors to the Lab
Hardly a visitor, but our very own in-house investment expertise was shared by Charlie this week. Titled ‘Investment 101’ Charlie filled in gaps and increased everyone’s knowledge.
Andy Lark, CMO of Xero, stopped by the Lab to share his story and hone in on what is most important from a marketing perspective. He questioned teams, “where is that MODDD? Moment of doubt, desire or dissatisfaction?”
We had Lightning Lab Auckland alumnus Kevin Fraher from Justly in the lab for a couple of days last week. He provided a very real perspective on ‘life in the lab’ as well as an insight into life after the Lab.
Canterbury Software Summit
This week we had the Annual Canterbury Software Summit- the preeminent industry event of the year for the tech sector. There were more than 550 people in attendance with an impressive lineup of speakers across business and technical streams plus Master Classes, Tech User Group sessions and a large trade show area. Geoff is heavily involved as Chairman of the Canterbury Software Cluster and a few others from the Lab also went along and embraced the windy wild weather in the marquee.
