INCUBATION FOR PRODUCT MARKET FIT This track is focused on helping early-stage companies to identify and validate a clear market opportunity and build a solution that addresses this opportunity.

INCUBATION FOR GROWTH AND EXPANSION This track is focused on helping companies with existing revenue and traction accelerate their growth through sales, investment and global expansion.

CRITERIA FOR STARTUPS INTERESTED IN INCUBATION 

PLACES IN CHQ'S INCUBATION PROGRAMME ARE HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER.  

Each year, we have up to twenty places for startups to grow their business with us. Teams are selected based on a range of criteria including:  

  • Having a unique value proposition  
  • The potential to scale globally  
  • Coachable founders with a team around them  
  • Early signs of validation and/or growth  
  • Alignment with CHQ’s values  
  • Based in Wellington  

APPLICATION PROCESS

APPLY

This is a written application where you get to tell us a bit about your venture. This will take approximately 30mins to complete.

REVIEW

We will assess your application and inform you if you have been invited to the next stage.

INTERVIEW

If we feel your application is a good fit with our programme, we’ll invite you to pitch to a CHQ panel. This will be a 5min pitch, followed by 15mins of Q&A. We will then make a final decision.

START

Get ready for a year of growth, learning, challenge and fun! During your first two days in the programme, you will be given a full induction, including a meeting with your CHQ incubation coach to work out your objectives and plan out your time in incubation.  

WHEN TO APPLY

You can apply at any time. We accept applications on a rolling basis. 

However, there are only four intakes of startups per year: Jan, April, July, Oct.
